proof it’s still january

Snow, snow, snow! Oh yes, more snow! No, I did NOT want it. I’m sorely in need of sunshine myself, and I’m just hanging in there until Spring… but hey, this storm was impressive. It was beautiful coming down. So thick and fluffy. Like a pure white blanket from God, calming the earth and making it hush for a while. Shhhhhh…. listen…..

Son, John, shoveled the walks out front, and around the vehicles… mainly because he has to go to work early tomorrow morning. And who wants to have to do something like that before you go to work, right? Here’s right before he got started…

It was so cold out there… bitter cold. I stood at the kitchen window. Warm me. LOL!

John really did make short work of it. Jerry can’t handle doing that anymore, and I would have been running back inside every couple minutes. Almost done…

Oh, wait… we got a text from someone…. ROTFL!!

When John was done, we measured the snow right at the edge of the sidewalk…

The tape measure was held crooked, and I could only get down so low without plopping into the snow myself, but you get the idea. {approx. 7.5 inches}

Ah, well…. Spring will be here at some point. I just won’t be sitting out back right now….
